Gretchen, the owner of ChichiBoulie Boutique, is a work-at-home artist and mother of three. She grew up in the US but has been living in the UK for over the past four years and is soon to be moving to France. She started selling art about three years ago on a sort of long thought out whim and has been ever since. "I originally started with acrylics, but have fallen in love with watercolours." says, Gretchen.
Her shop is dedicated mainly to babies and young children. She offers both original artwork and prints of her work to cover various price points. Most of her paintings can be personalized and she does a lot of commissions to particular themes that parents are looking for or to suit an already established nursery or bedroom. She recently listed her first more adult collage, although it retains in her young-at-heart style. "I plan on offering more, when I find the time to do everything I plan, and I think this style in particular is one that suits young children as well as older children and even adults. " says Gretchen.
