Interview with Lorenz Studio

1. Tell us about your shop and your craft.
*I feature mostly vintage items in my shop. I just love the originality a vintage piece can bring to a room. Every once in a while I get a big spurt of energy and actually bust out the sewing machine to create something from my stash of vintage fabric.

2. What inspires you to create?
*Nothing is more satisfying than finishing a project and having my eyes light up at the end result. These projects range from a lot of things whether it's sewing a pillow, creating a wall hanging, decorating a room or even just taking a great photograph for my etsy shop.

3. What are your passions?
*My passions range from artistic and girly to outdoorsy and grungy. I think it's so important to have a balance. I love for my husband to know at the end of a long, grueling and dirty mountain bike ride that I can still clean up well, put together a darling outfit and be ready for a night on the town in no time flat!

 4. What's your favorite candy?
*Hhhmmm...I'll pass on the candy for the ice cream!

5. Where do you see your shop in 5 years?
*I see my shop as always having a vintage flair. I have to admit that I kept the name of my shop very broad to allow for a wide range of items in the future. I would love to design baby and children's items with vintage fabrics. My mom made clothes for my sister and me when we were growing up and I cherish the pictures of us together in our matching outfits.
