Midtown Farmers Market - Results

On Saturday, the 16th, I was invited to be a seller at the Midtown Farmers Market, hosted by T'afia. It was amazing. I really learned a ton. Plus, a got a few more sales of my handmade cards. Now that cannot hurt a thing? Right? Really, I hear it's good for blood pressure or something.
Though the day was very hot, humid and a bit showery, I had a blast. A new venue, new people to meet, and of course driving into downtown Houston by MYSELF! (Thanks GPS!) I did get lost and find myself driving the wrong way down a one way street! (Thanks pedestrian for pointing at me and laughing!) It was freakin scary. If you know the feeling you get when you are about to die or be humiliated, then you know what I am talking about. All the cars stopped and let me figure out what I was doing. Plus, as mentioned above, pedestrian guy was laughing at me. What was he thinking? Well, he should have thought about the outfit he picked out.... (pause) (leaving pedestrian alone)
I did make it back to Montgomery in one peice. So thanks Midtown and T'afia! It was a crazy, awesome, terrific, day and I hope to be able to say that I will be back in Midtown more often. It's my kind of (mid) town.

This is the funniest story EVER. I support the pedestrian. I am pointing and laughing from afar.

Love,

I'm glad you (for the most part) enjoyed visiting us down here in southern Texas. Houston can be a very scary place. I live about 2 hours from there and have driven through several times but I mostly only visit the Galleria and the surrounding areas and have never been to downtown.

Hope you get to make it back again.
