Less Than Three Designs

1. How long have you been on Etsy?
I have been on Etsy for what feels like a lifetime (I mean that in the BEST possible way), but in reality is just under a year. My Etsyversary is Christmas. What a wonderful present Etsy is. It's the gift that keeps on giving!

2. Why Etsy?
Why NOT Etsy? No, seriously, though. Etsy has completely changed my life. When I first found Etsy, I just couldn't believe how COOL it was. A place where people come together over the idea of handmade goods and vintage? No way! I browsed all the different shops, and I thought to myself, I've made things like this before. I bet I could open a shop here. You see, I had no intentions of ever selling here. I was just going to be a buyer. Before Etsy, I never had the confidence in my own stuff to even consider selling my things. I started selling my goods just after the new year, and in this year, I have made over sixty five sales, made new friendships, traveled, and learned many lessons about life. Above all, I learned that I have to do what makes me happy. Before Etsy, it was making music, but since I have found Etsy, creating has become my front and foremost, so much so that I changed my major from music education (I never really wanted to teach, anyway) to business. I have big dreams of opening my own Etsy-like shop within the next five years. All in all, I have thoroughly enjoyed the Etsy experience, and I can no longer imagine my life without it.

3. Do you sell anywhere else?
I do, actually! I sell at Hey Pretty Cupcake, which can be found at:

I'm looking to branch out into other shops, as well!

4. Why do you love what you do?
Ooo, that's a tough question! I've never really considered the WHY aspect of this before. What's not to love about designing your own product, handcrafting it with love, and selling it to someone who loves it nearly as much as you do? There's so much love to be shared! I just really enjoy the idea of making something specifically for someone, and in turn, knowing who makes what you're buying. It's such a satisfying experience.
