The Art of Trading

Many of the craft shows I have attended have lots of vendors trying to sell their wares to the masses attending the shows. But what about the other vendors? You sell handmade soap and the person next to you sells stationery, why not switch? This is called a trade. Just like your childhood baseball cards.

Many artists trade goods among other artists to get what they want or need without spending the money they may or may not have. There are many times that I attend a show and each sell counts double. You may not have the extra pocket change to buy that MUST have handbag but you have an amazing art that you can use as your currency.

My latest trade was with Shari from Bonnin Designs. She has some of the most amazing jewelry, accessories, and little must haves I have ever seen. Great style and good for the bank.  So check out her shope, it's really one of my top favs and I don't chnage the top favs very often!
