Learning How to Market Your Brand

With the launch of A Punkin Card Company's new website, I have been super busy trying to unify my cards, journals, and gift sets into a true company line.
I never thought that I would need something like a cohesive line to market myself. I always made whatever came to mind and sold it has a single piece of art. With retail shops or B&M stores, they demand something better, and after all this work, I don't blame them! I have had to improve the look of my final packaging, improve the selection of cards I have, and re-do all of my graphics to get them at the level they should have been long ago.
After all this mind numbing work, stress, and long nights, I have finally reached the small dim of light at the end of some tunnel. (The only tunnel I have ever been through is the one in Mobile, Alabama. Where are all the tunnels?) It's a great feeling to step back and look at my products and know that they showcase themselves amazingly! So I thought I would share some tips or, I guess, advice on what I have done the past few weeks, or months.
Over the next few posts, I will talk about some of the things I have done to improve my line without selling out lots of money. It's really easy to think about it, just takes all your energy to get it done.

Check back soon!

UGH, I'm still working on my "brand". I still don't have a cohesive vision for what I do...so I still have a lot of work to do. I love your website. It's gorgeous!

Thanks! I am glad you like the website. Marketing yourself does take a lot of time, but in the long run it's worth it to do it yourself! Just hang in there :)
